Toshiharu Kamijo
Senior Managing Executive Officer and CFO (Chief Financial Officer)

The new Transformation for Growth SWCC 2030 Medium-Term Management Plan was launched in April 2026. I was appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to implement ROIC-Oriented Management 2.0, the central pillar of this Medium-Term Management Plan, and lead the management of the SWCC Group from a financial perspective.

As the CFO, I will focus on the following five initiatives with the aim of achieving sustainable improvements in corporate value.

The first is thorough management of the business portfolio.

By conducting investment feasibility studies and post-investment monitoring, we will optimize our business portfolio from the perspective of capital efficiency.

The second is increasing the sophistication of our cash flow management. We will work to maximize capital efficiency by enhancing our ability to generate cash from our businesses and strengthening the cash management capabilities of the Group as a whole.

The third is the optimization of cash allocation.

We will allocate cash generated by business activities to growth investments, investments in R&D and human capital, and shareholder returns, achieving an appropriate balance with a medium- to long-term perspective.

The fourth is financing supporting growth investments.

Being fully aware of the need for financial discipline and the cost of capital, we will conduct optimal financing activities from a multifaceted perspective. The fifth is the reinforcement of our dialogue with stakeholders.

We will proactively provide both financial information and information about the connections between non-financial activities, such as human capital and sustainability activities, and the creation of financial value in the future to investors and other stakeholders.

SWCC is currently in a growth stage, and it is necessary to proactively invest and take on challenges.

As the CFO, based on financial discipline, I will identify risks and make bold decisions to strongly drive the growth of our business.
