As of April 1, 2023, SWCC Showa Holdings Co., Ltd. absorbed SWCC Showa Cable Systems Co., Ltd. and SWCC Showa Unimac Ltd. to form SWCC Corporation. Since our founding in 1936, we have been manufacturing electric wires and cables, aiming to become an enterprise that supports people's lives through infrastructure products.It is always a great pleasure for all of us to contribute to the creation of a society in which people can feel safe and secure about access to electricity and telecommunication services. Allow me to extend my deepest appreciation to all our valued customers who have been using our products for a long time.
As the world undergoes rapid changes, it has been facing many challenges recently, including environmental issues, geopolitical tensions, natural resource protection, and personnel shortages. Under these circumstances, the SWCC Group is determined to tackle these social issues through advanced technologies and innovative ideas, transcending conventional activities, while working to develop as many solutions as possible. The SWCC Group has three core businesses: 1) energy and infrastructure, 2) electric equipment and components, and 3) communication and industrial devices. To achieve further growth, we will endeavor not only to enhance these core businesses but also to venture into new businesses by leveraging our core technologies, and acquire new competencies through creative imagination.
