In order to satisfy the varied demands of our customers, such as increased power transmission supply, harmony with the environment, and the communications functions required by an advanced information-oriented society, We has been supplying various types of overhead conductors including the typical type ACSR (Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced), OPGW (Optical Fiber Ground Wire), thermal resistant conductors, low-sag conductors and environmental harmony conductors (noise, appearance, snow).
We has recently developed a new low-sag aluminum conductor called ACFR (Aluminum Conductor Carbon Fiber Reinforced) that has a special CFCC(Carbon Fiber Composite Cable) core, rather than the conventional steel core. This conductor is already being supplied successfully to our domestic customers in Japan.
